Two seminars were held in Banja Luka on 14-15 November 2012 under the IPA project “EU Support for the Coordination and Implementation of the Coordinated Policy for Youth in BiH”: "Interactive Mapping of the Participants within the Youth Policy" (how multi-sectoral approach influences the policies, the role of each institution and how it can be strengthened, and identification of synergies and their strengthening) and "Strengthening Interactive Inter-institutional Capacities of the Commission"(Commission SWOT analysis, open method of coordination through the following elements: establishing guidelines and a timetable for achieving short, medium and long term goals, establishing quantitative and qualitative indicators and benchmarks, the introduction of European guidelines in BiH policies by establishing specific measures and objectives and periodic monitoring of progress in order to achieve the common learning process). 

 

Apart from the participation of the representatives of the Commission for Coordination of Youth Issues in BiH, the representatives of the entity ministries, Brcko District of BiH and the representatives of youth NGO in BiH also participated in the seminars. The main objective of the third and fourth seminar is a better understanding of the role and influence of various stakeholders involved in the policy making process and strengthening the role of the Commission in policy coordination, especially in the eight fields of action of the EU Youth Strategy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which includes identifying the best mechanisms for the transfer of appropriate EU youth policies and their integration into the program of the Commission, with defined objectives, indicators and possible measures to implement the policy.

 

 

The beginning of the implementation of the training under the IPA project EU Support for the Coordination and Implementation of National Youth Policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EUNYP project)  

 We are pleased to inform you that the implementation of training cycles begins under the IPA project "EU Support for the Coordination and Implementation of National Youth Policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina" (EUNYP project).  

 

The training module themes are as follows:

1. Project and project proposals development (October - November 2012)

2. Fundraising opportunities (February - March 2013)

3. Development of  Municipal Youth Strategy (May - June 2013)

Deadline for submitting applications for the first module is 20th September 2011.
