Meeting with the World Bank representatives |
On June 14, 2007, a meeting with the World Bank representatives was held in Sarajevo, at the office of the Commission. The meeting was attended by Dejan Eresic, Boris Kordic, and Amir Avdagic on behalf of the Commission, and by Goran Tinjic and Paula Franklin Lytle on behalf of the World Bank. The topic of the meeting was possible cooperation between the Commission and the World Bank.

Meeting with the UN Agencies in BiH |
On June 14, 2007, a meeting was held in Sarajevo between the representatives of the Commission with the representatives of UN Agencies UNDP, UNV and UNICEF.
The representatives of the UN agencies invited the Commission for Coordination of Youth Affairs for concrete cooperation according to the Agreement on Cooperation signed by the UN with the State of BiH in 2005. Concrete forms of cooperation are expected in drafting of the “Youth Policy in BiH” document, where there is strong possibility for the UN with its agencies to support the overall project for development of the Youth Policy document or to take over a certain portion of the activities.
The UN agencies informed the Commission representatives that they have also drafted the report on youth which shall be made available to the Commission soon.

Meeting with Senad Sepic, Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs |
On June 8, 2007, a meeting was held between the members of the Commission with Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH, Senad Sepic.
The focus of the meeting was on the Commission’s activities in 2006 and 2007, and on drafting of the Youth Policy in BiH document. Mr. Sepic informed the attendees on the expectations by the Ministry towards the Commission, and provided a positive assessment of the 2007 Work Program. It was concluded that the process of creation of the Youth Policy of BiH 2008-2013 document is very important and that it also needs to include broader public in its creation.
Integration of the youth sector at the regional level, as well as establishment of cooperation with the neighboring countries and beyond on youth affairs, is one of the key tasks of the Commission in the forthcoming period.

The issue of health insurance for youth up to 27 years of age in FBiH |
Sarajevo, 03.31.2006 At the third regular session of the Commission, members spoke with Ms. Ljiljana Zita, deputy in the office of Ombudsmen in the FBiH with the petition of supportive action to the Ombudsmen FBiH on health insurance for youths up to 27 years of age. The Commission gave this action its full suport and directed a letter to the governments of all cantons in FBiH in which it indicated the disrespect of existing legal regulations relating to this problem. |
