Commission for coordination of youth issues of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina consigns public congratulation to the Prime Minister and Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for acquisition of the initiative for inclusion of youth issues into the program activities of the Government and the Ministry of culture and sport of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the government’s decision, the Ministry of culture and sport will be renamed into the Ministry of youth, culture and sport.

The Ministry has an obligation to prepare a model for realization of this initiative with precisely defined dynamics as soon as possible and suggest appropriate legal solutions regarding competencies of the Ministry in the field of youth issues.

This initiative, along with the initiative for acquisition of the Youth Law in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was consigned to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in June, 2006. The Commission presented its study „Youth Law in FB-H“, which includes the basis for the cration of the draft of Youth Law.

We hope that the initiative for acquisition of Youth Law in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be adopted promptly and provide a basis for the systematic solution of youth problems and improvement of the status of young people in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
